Hi,
today it's very common to have fixtures with multi elements and we need a way to select them efficiently: I've tried to prepare specific sub-fixture groups, when I select them the whole fixtures are selected. I cannot control only the recorded sub-fixtures and I don't know another way to achieve it.
Test file attached and self explanatory: select a group and try to adjust the intensity or the color, in the dmx view you'll see that the fixtures are modified globally.

Hi Massimo, I've tried it again tonight with "qlcplus-qt5qml-5.0.0_Beta_3-20241111-e8ecb67.AppImage" and for me it doesn't work.
Here a screenshot: I've selected only the the 2nd dimmer and rised the intensity @212 > dimer 1 has rised as well to 212.

Hi Giacomo, I tested the same as above with the latest build and it works for me.
I think there's something that differs in our tests.
Are you using the fixture definition bundled with QLC+ or a custom version?

hi Massimo, I think I've found a clue:
it works only if you select the first dimmer, not with the 2nd one.
But there is a extra bug, once you've selected the elements, they're not deselected anymore and all the behavior get confusing when you try a second time, eg. the intensity widget shows you the possibility to apply a delta value, even if they're all @00 and deselected in the 2d.

In the same situation, I've tried to select the recorded groups and weirdly the intensity acts "always" on the 2nd dimmer.
Because it's a such important feature, someone else would like to help to test it? Thanks.

edit: I've a new clean appimage situation, my user directories and config were deleted before I started the new tests.

Hi Massimo, I've tried again this evening with the latest build:
when I select the second dimmer the intensity widget seems to consider it a "delta" value, nb. that the fixture didn't have any attribute assigned before.
The intensity widget doesn't modify the 2nd intensity attribute, it works only when I select the fixture globally or just the 1st dimmer.

Here another example that it doesn't work for me:
there are 2 scenes in the file, play it and you'll see 2 different selections. I've already prepared the groups but when you select them the 1st fixture it's selected globally.
My simple question, is it possible in v5 to have a group that selects only some elements?
Those fixtures have 1 emitter White and 12 RGB
I'd like to create a group for these fixtures that I can use to select a pattern, it's a common task today and some led bar can have more than 200 channels... it's not possible to do it manually each time.
In case, is there a better way to achieve it?
