I've been trying to add a LED Par. In the fixture editor I select color changer and save it.
When I open qlc and add it as a new fixture, it turns it in to a dimmer. It passes the fixture verify test.
Please help.

Where did you put the fixture definition? You should use these paths: (depending on your O.S.) https://docs.qlcplus.org/v4/fixture-definition-editor
When you add this fixture to your project and show a dimmer, it looks like an older definition version is used.

I should have thought about this - it is a bug in the current version of QLC+.
