Hello,

I'm probably doing something dumb but simply cannot connect to the web interface from a device. Can someone please review for me?
  1. I got my PC's address from settings->network->wifi->[my wifi network name] and scrolling down to IPv4 address.
  2. I've tried it by starting QLC+ with both -w and --web in the command line. (I made a shortcut to the .exe file and then just updated the target to C:\QLC+\qlcplus.exe --web or -w)
  3. I made sure my PC and devices were connected to the same wifi network.
  4. I opened a browser in both iPad and my Android phone and go to http://[IPv4 address]:9999
No joy. :(
stie cannot be reached
server stopped responding
took too long to respond

However, when I try it on my same PC that is running QLC+, it works great.

Thanks for any assistance.

A firewall settings issue? You have to open the 9999 port in the firewall exceptions.
Network 101: try to ping the QLC+ host machine on either of your devices. If it is reachable, your network settings are good, and you can start looking elsewhere...
All electric machines work on smoke... when the smoke escapes... they don't work anymore

Thanks for your reply, and I think it might be the firewall as you suspect. I get this when attempting a ping: Request timeout for icmp

I made an exception in the firewall for port 9999 and it's all good now. Thanks for your help. :)
